Things to Do

The Village of Chase has an array of activities to take part in. You can hit the links on the golf course at either the Sunshore Golf Club or The Talking Rock golf course. Try out the new bowling lanes at Village Lanes Fun Center. Hike one of the many trails in the Shuswap region, spend a relaxing day on the boat soaking up the sun or trying to catch the big one. For those that are a little more adventuresome, there is zip lining, white water rafting, water skiing, and off roading. Chase isn’t just a summer destination either. In the winter there is cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and ice fishing. As well, plan to attend organized events such as the Squilax Pow Wow (July) or Neskonlith Pow Wow (August), Chase Cornstock (August), Music in the Park, Pritchard Rodeo (August), Pumpkin Patch and much more.

While in Chase be sure to take a drive and visit the many surrounding communities to see what they have to offer. Be sure to check out Scotch Creek, Anglemont, Celista, Lee Creek, Sorrento, Blind Bay and Falkland just to name a few. If missing the city life, its just a 35 minute drive to Kamloops or Salmon Arm. While touring through the area be sure stop at one of the many wineries for a sampling of BC's finest Celista Estates Vineyard or Recline Ridge Vineyards.

For those wishing to see the area from a different perspective you can always take a helicopter tour from the local company, Lakehead Helicopters.

Before or after a day of touring be sure to stop by one of the local restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are many choices including  Silver Fox Pub, Chase Cafe, Pete's Pizza, Simply De Vine Coffee & Bistro, and Craig’s Bakery just to name a few.
